JEEPNEYS - Now that's FILIPINO!
Ok, I know these are rather plain.
But I think we all like the unusal ones and the other types of transportation in THE PHILIPPINES that we don't see anywhere else in the west, or at least not here in the U.S.A. I posted these to get the topic started, not because they are great photos.
Lets see what you have found in THE PHILIPPINES.

Yeah... those Jeepneys sure makes u aware u´re in the Phils.
He he... The first time i got into a Jeepney was in Iloilo. I´m not even tall (5.8)... I still managed to hit my forhead quite hard.... man, was i swearing  ...
Now it´s Taxi or Trike for Patric !

Here is a MOTORELA. I do not recall seeing many of these in the MANILA area. Maybe they were there, I just didn't notice. They are different than the TRIKE. A TRIKE is basically a Bike w/sidecar. The MOTORELLA is like a cross between a JEEPNEY & a MOTORCYCLE. This one was in MINDANAO, north of C.D.O. in MEDINA.

What, no Kalesa pictures??? What about Trisikads (bicycle with sidecar as opposed to a motorcycle).
All of my photos are on old fashioned pre-digital print film... One day I'll get around to scanning them in.

Jeepneys in Tagbilaran, Bohol.
Not very many though.... Multicabs are more common.

Trikes looks different in Tagbilaran than in Angeles city.... the design is just not the same.
