For starters i want to give credit to the helpful members of the  http://www.livingincebuforums.com as well as http://cebuonwheels.tripod.com/dentist_tours.htm for helping a total newbie like myself when it comes to Cebu for finding this Dentist.

Fernando Dental Clinic in Cebu City

Here goes; I had a two teeth bridge in my upper jaw that needed to be reinforced by putting in posts.

So, (I hate going to Dentists...) I meet Dr. Enriqe Fernando & tell him i need  posts put in & i really would appreciate if he can use my existing bridge (instead of making a new one).

Well, the Doc is very gentle (did´nt even feel the needle going in). He manages to put in two titanium posts & salvage my existing bridge.... Everything was done in one sitting !!!

Cost: Php 3000 :) :D  (imagine what this would have cost in Europe or in the US!)

No need to say nobody is happier than me when i can get out of the dentist chair & leave....due to my fear of Dentists..

BUT, when we have the opportunity to go to Cebu on our next trip i will make an appointment with this Dentist again.

Conclusion: If u are in Cebu (actually we stayed in Bohol & made day trips with Ocean Jet over to Cebu) & u are in need of a very good & gentle Dentist u can´t go wrong with Dr. Enrique Fernando !!!

Just to add my experience there, I had teeth cleaning on first trip, 500 pesos and well done.  Second trip I had three fillings done, including a problematic chipped tooth, each filling was 500 pesos.  Everything done very professionally and with a minimum of discomfort.  I was very pleased.  Normally I avoid dentists like the plague, but I will visit Fernando Dental anytime I need work done and am in the Cebu area.  I might even make a special trip (from Baguio) if necessary!

Cost in the states would have been much much higher.  They scheduled me in quickly and adjusted the date of my second visit when I had to travel.  They are cash oriented, no credit cards as I remember.  I recommend without reservation.
