Here is one of my favorite dishes.

I recommend using the Graham Crackers and skip the nuts.
Good Luck...

This isn't a recipe or cooking.
Well, I really miss my Filipino Mangoes, and that Filipino Mango Ice Cream with our good mangoes in it. After reading jhings-husbands Mango Float, it made me miss it again. I miss all of the fresh fruit. Here in the Illinois, there isn't much real fresh fruit. The taste just isn't as good as my place.
When you are in the PHILIPPINES, everyone must try MANGO ICE CREAM! I'm sure you will like it, if you like ice cream & mangoes!
Thank you.

I just have to agree with this. Close to Negros is an island called Guimaras. In Bacolod City, you can buy mangoes from this island... and let me tell you, the best fruit I have ever tasted.
Here in the states it's hard to find anything like it. Most of the mangoes are imported from Mexico and are stringy and of a different variety... not nearly as sweet or juicy. Whenever I am in the Philippines I make a point to eat mangoes!

Mango Float is prepared for me... too often.
Iyah had never prepared it before we got an apartment together, but began making it when she found out that I love it so much. She makes it better than any I have had in the past! (No, I'm not just saying that because she's my girl.)
