Filipino Cakes
When doing our "runs" into the supermarkets in Tagbilaran when shopping for Sodas / mineral water & so on, i felt a craving for cakes , not cookies cause i had just been to the dentist in Cebu & my mouth was still kinda sore, so i needed a soft cake. Anyhow, i bought several different soft cakes, 4-5 different ones since i didnt know what they tasted like & didnt want to end up back at the Resort with no good cakes (they were very cheap anyway).
Of the cakes i tried i liked only one sort & that was a banana cake that came in two sizes, one medium & one a little bigger.
Here is a picture of a cake i didnt like "Torta Boholana" cause it was to drie on the inside & didnt have much of a taste to it.
This is my favorite, "Banana Cake" ! Must have bought 3 or 4 of these during our stay
