Whats most important to me when flying is; the less time i have to spend on a plane & an airport the better.
Flying out of Gothenburg to NAIA/Manila actually only leaves me with one option & that´s KLM. The KLM staff has & is IMHO always effective and professional. After KLM´s merger with Airfrance, KLM´s frequent flyer program (if u fly economy) is no more.... Nowdays u only get 25% mileage points as of 100% before the merger unless u pay another 300 something dollars to upgrade your ticket so u will get the 100%. This is of course of no use since after u reach the level of miles needed to obtain that free ticket u will have paid more than a free ticket would be worth.
The food..... Well, the food is what airline food usually is; hardly edible. I dont consider this to be a major problem since my vacation does´nt start until my feet touch ground at NAIA.
When i flew with KLM in Feb 2006 i noticed something irritating... some sort of metal box under the seat infront of me wich ment i couldnt really position my legs/feet right due to this damn box..... looked around in the plane & saw these boxes under several seats nearby and yeah, the seat i got on my flight back to Gothenburg had one of those fuckin boxes too. Dont know if this is a new thing or if i´ve just been lucky in the past not getting a seat made for midgets....
All in all, KLM is ok but their mileage system is fucked up.
Cheers !
