The Central Park Hotel in Angeles City
Gonna go to Angeles City & wonder what Hotel to stay at?
The best service, the best Hotel staff & best Management i´ve come across in Angeles city is at the Central Park Hotel at 261 Real Street.
When u arrive & througout your stay the staff will call u by your first name.
Hotel rooms start at $29 - $35. The standard rooms are more than enough. Got your minibar, cable tv, good AC. Housekeeping is very effective & sees to it that the filter of your AC is cleaned before you check in.
The CP staff is always very helpful & will assist u with whatever u need help with. The owners Guy & his wife Roselle are doing a great job with making CP known as the Hotel that gives you the best service in town.
There is a second Hotel; The Pacific Breeze Hotel beeing built which is much bigger ( 4 stories, 56 rooms & 9 jacuzzi suites with balcony ) Supposed to be ready in Dec 2006.
Check out The Pacific Breeze Hotel :

At my next trip to AC i will definetly stay at CP or maybe even their new Hotel if its not fully booked.
Check out The Central Park Hotel ! :

Cheers !

Is this the same hotel that used to be called the Chicago Park? if so, I stayed there a few times and it was fine, with a cracking little karaoke bar next door and great food.
It has to be said that the swimming pool is so small that it must only be for ornamental value...but then, not everyone goes to AC to swim in the pool!
Now I tend to stay in hotels up by the Petron station...Perimeter Hotel, Sunshine etc, and my own recommendation...Bluefields, just down the road. Quiet location, nice pool.

Yes u are right, it went by the name Chicago Park before Guy & Roselle took over & yes the pool is more for the eyes than anything else. Their new Hotel Pacific Breeze has (according to the pics on their site) a very nice pool.... the entire Hotel seems awsome.
As i understand it AC is changing in so many ways that it will indeed be interesting to see how & what it will transform into in a couple of years from now. Time will tell....

The Pacific Breeze looks great. heard about another place, the ABC (Angeles Beach Club), located further up Fields avenue (I think). The ABC even has sand around the swimming pool (that's sand, NOT lahar)!
Bottom line is, I heard they charge 100 UD$ a night. At present time, we can expect about 40 P to the US$, 80 P to the £ Sterling. This time last year we would be on 45-50 P per $, 100P per £.
So will all these new resorts in Angeles make money? There are some people who say that the ABC (though owned by an American), is trying to corner the market for Japanese and Korean (especially) tourists and businessmen, as Clark has made it even easier for them to fly in for a short time (pardon the pun)!
I reckon the next few years will be interesting for Angeles...
