Goldilocks Makati City
We were actually on our way to find a place to have lunch when i saw a Goldilocks up ahead & told the driver to drop us off there (after asking my wife if she would mind to have a cup of coffee, she knows how much i like Bakeshops so she didnt argue ).
Well, since i wanted to see what Goldilocks was all about...but, we were as i said heading for a Resto...we didnt want to fill up too much on cakes & such so we ordered 2 cups of brewed coffee & at the counter they had an assortment of muffins (in plastic wrappings to protect them from getting stale) so we chose one blueberry & one banana (i´m almost certain it was blueberry & banana, but my memory could fail me).
Anyway, the coffee was ok (not the best brewed coffee we´ve had but ok).
What i did like alot was actually the muffin/s (yes, my wife liked it too, but she´s more of a coffee person & not so much into cakes & cookies like i am). The good thing was as i said before that they (the muffins) were moist & fresh thanks to beeing enclosed in the plastic wrapping.
Guess what this came to?
2 cups off brewed coffe & two muffins = Php 76 only !!!
He he, u can´t beat that can u.....
If i´d go to Goldilocks again? Yep ! But next time i´ll have 2...maybe 3 muffins .
On a side note:
When in Bohol i went to a Goldilocks shop at the Island City Mall & ordered a "Roll"; one off those long cakes u see on dispaly behind the glass counter, some covered in chocolate & what not. I then noticed that they don´t take the cake u point at, but have fresh ones "behind the scenes" that they will put in a box & bag for u.
The Goldilocks we checked out was the:
Pasong Tamo branch, 2152 Miracle building. Makati City
