Miravilla Resort in Tagbilaran Bohol!

The visit to Miravilla Resort took place in November 2006.

It´s located just a short drive from the Bohol Tropics Resort (just as u exit the Bohol Tropics take a left & keep driving & u´ll have the Miravilla Resort on your left side).

We went there cause they are known for their Seafood Restaurant. It can´t get more fresh than this.... U choose what u want to have on your plate from the "aquariums" where u´ll find a choise of shrimp, clamfish, eel, crabs, crablets, fish & giant prawns etc. They also have (behind a glass counter a great assortment of different fish, fish fillets such as sword fish & so on.

Our friends chose the swordfish fileet & crablets (that are deepfried). Me & my wife chose 1kilo of the giant prawns (good for two) & we had them grilled with garlic butter & served with garlic rice.

Neither me or my wife had ever tried these type of prawns before... actually never even seen prawns this big before.

Here´s the catch: 1kilo of giant prawns = Php 1800 !

Well, for dining in the Phils it´s a lot of money but for tourists like us who really enjoyed the opportunity to have seafood as fresh as possible as well as trying something new it was still worth it. 1kilo pf these giant prawns came to like 7 prawns & it was enough for the two of us. Total price for the prawns with garlic rice & softdrinks came to almost Php 2000.

Our friends really liked their choice too (i dont remember how much they paid for their meals).

If the prawns were worth the money? Sure! very good indeed.

Service was also good at this Resto.

The Miravilla Resort/Restaurant is located just by the water so while dining u´ll have a nice wiew of the ocean.

The Resort also has this big pool for those who want to combine dinner with swimming.

So, if u´re in Tagbilaran Bohol & u want to enjoy fresh seafood Miravilla is a good choice.

Location:

FV Harrison St., Booy, Tagbilaran. City
